The built-in intelligent lighting is the feature that catches people off guard. Most video bars ignore the fact that most rooms have inconsistent lighting — the VB130 has a colour sensor that reads the ambient light in the room and automatically adjusts its built-in fill light to compensate. Five brightness levels, colour temperature from 2700K (warm) to 5700K (daylight). The person on camera looks like they’re in a well-lit studio, not a dim boardroom at 4pm.

On the audio side, the audio fence is the standout. You draw a sound zone around the camera’s viewing angle, and anything outside it — air conditioning, the open-plan office next door, a colleague on a call two desks away — gets silenced. The five beamforming microphones then focus on voices within that zone and lock on, tracking the speaker automatically so there’s no need for anyone to press mute or manually adjust anything.

SmartFrame and voice tracking handle the camera side. The VB130 automatically keeps all participants framed, adjusts when someone stands up or moves, and follows whoever is speaking without anyone touching a controller.
